Pablo Díaz Espí (Havana, 1972). Cuban journalist, writer and editor. He studied at the German Film and Television Academy. He left Cuba in 1991 and since then has lived in Berlin, New York and Madrid. In December 2000 he founded the digital newspaper on Cuban affairs Cubaencuentro, of which he was director until 2009. That same year he left the project and founded Diario de Cuba, which he still runs.
